Naveen Kumar Gupta (Born in 1960 at Delhi) entered into Ayurveda Studies at the age of 16 years at the oldest Ayurveda Institute in Delhi known as The Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College, a public university inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on 13th Feb. 1921.
In the year 1983 Delhi University and AYUSH Ministry, Government of India awarded him Bachelors in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery with Honours and distinctions in all clinical subjects such as Kaya Chikitsa (Internal Medicine), Shalya Chikitsa (General Surgery), Kaumar Bhritya (Gynaecology and paediatrics), Manas Vijnana (Clinical Psychiatry) etc. In the year 1984, Central Council of Indian Medicine awarded him outstanding practising internist and academic titles in Ayurveda System of Medicine as ‘Vaidya’ and ‘Acharya’. By that time his clients and students addressed him as ‘Acharya’.
